The Kalø School of Languages is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of Denmark. The college itself is situated in the middle of a forest, just 200 meters from the beach and with the Mols Bjerge “ Mols Mountains” just a stone’s throw away.
There are good bus connections to Århus (50 min.) and the towns of Randers, Grenå and Ebeltoft.
The Ferry Port of Ebeltoft is only 25 minutes away by bus, from where there are regular sailings to Zealand. Aarhus Airport (Tirstrup) is a mere 13 km from the college. Bus number # 123 runs between Århus and Ebeltoft every hour and stops right on our doorstep. From Rønde, just 3 km from the college, there are bus connections to the towns of Randers and Grenå. Take Grenåvej out of Århus in the direction of Grenå and continue on to the motorway (#15) for about 5 km. After 5 km take the exit right towards Ugelbølle. Continue straight on Landevejen until you reach Rønde. Drive through Rønde until you reach the third set of traffic lights where you should turn right towards Mols. Follow the road for 3 km. Opposite the Nappedam boat harbour turn left where it is signposted to Højskolen på Kalø.

Take Grenåvej for about 9.5 km. Take the first exit at the roundabout and continue on Ebeltoftvej/Randersvej. Turn left on to Århusvej and continue through the town of Rønde until you reach the third set of traffic lights where you should turn right towards Mols. Follow the road for 3 kilometers. Opposite Nappedam boat harbour turn left where it is signposted to Højskolen på Kalø.

Take Århusvej and continue straight on Fruerlundvej and Ebeltoftvej. Turn right on to Grenåvej and after about 2 kilometers turn left on to Gammel Hovedvej. After about 700 meters turn left onto Kærsgaardsvej and follow the road as it turns to the left. Turn left on to the Bjødstrupvej and turn left on to Forpagtervej. Continue straight on to Kolåvej, turn to the right on to Molsvej and follow the road, when it turns to the right again. Opposite Nappedam boat harbour turn left where it is signposted to Højskolen på Kalø.
Direction by car from Ebeltoft.
Follow Nordrestrandvej/Vibækstrandvej and turn left at Kystvejen. Continue straight following the coast; at the roundabout at Femmøller Strand take the first exit towards Femmøller. Follow Molsvej for about 9 kilometers until you reach Nappedam boat harbour. Opposite Nappedam boat harbour turn right where it is signposted to Højskolen på Kalø.
