Learn Danish
- a unique possibility to learn the Danish language
in a lively and stimulating educational environment
22 week or 18 week
Do you have an interest in learning the Danish language and about Danish culture? Do you need to learn Danish and about Denmark because you intend to study or work in Denmark?
Or – do you already speak the language and just need to brush up your grammar and comprehension?
DANISH & MORE DANISH
At the Kalø School of Languages we offer an intensive course. Classes will be held throughout the day and, by also taking part in social activities along with Danish students, you will experience Danish everyday life – morning, afternoon and evening. In the classroom you will experience a variety of materials and activities. Communication outside the classroom will also be in Danish.
That is why you will experience real progress on a daily basis.
At the beginning of the course, students are divided into groups according to their current abilities. As the course progresses, it is possible to move to a more advanced level as your Danish skills improve.
Thus, your level is our starting point, whether you are a beginner or simply need to brush up your Danish.
YOUR GOALS ON THE COURSE ARE
- to speak idiomatic Danish
- to gain insight into Danish society in order to be successful at work or in the
educational system
SKILLS DEVELOPED ARE
- oral abilities
- insight into the culture, history and the conventions of Danish society
- written abilities
- basic knowledge of Danish grammar
EXAMSThe Kalø School of Languages is part of the non-formal educational system in Denmark and participation in a course will not give you any official qualifications. How much you learn is up to you and the goals you set for your stay.
If you want to register for an examination, we will help you by sending your application form to the nearby Language Centre, where you may take the exams "Danish 2" and "Danish 3".
