Its with great pleasure we here presents the program of the European Championships in Cuban Salsa with ten competing couples and the Grand Gala Dance Concert with Calle Real - the hottest Nordic Cuban Salsa Band.

Free bus from Århus Railway station
You can take the free bus from the Århus Railway Station directly to the Salsa Camp 2010.

The bus leaves from the DGI-Hus at the backside of the Århus Railway Station
Take the main stairs from the platform to the arrival hal. Turn right in the arrival hal and go 300 meter to the Center Square. Turn left 100 meter and take the left exit door and go down the stairs. The bus is parked just a the end of the stairs.

18.00-20.00: Latino Gala Buffet
20.30-23.00: The European Championships in Cuban Salsa
(The audiens will danse in between the performance blocks)
23.00-01.30: Calle Real Gala Dance Concert
01.30-05.00: Salsateque with DJ-Salsani, Denmark & DJ-Flaca, Norway.
07.00-07.30: Morning swim
07.30-09.30: Breakfast
10:00-10.30: Departure, hugs and kiss

Accomodation
You can put up your own tent in our beautiful park 300 m from the see and use the good and nice bath and toilet facilities of our Sports hall for free.
Also we can provide, in limited amount, the possibility to sleep at the floor on a mattress in a classroom. (It willl cost ekstra 100 Dkr / 15 euro)

Celebration Cuban salsa and music
July the 30th we will celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Salsa Camp 2010 by making a great gala tribute to the Cuban Salsa and the inspiration, that the Cuban music, salsa and dance culture are giving to the world and Europe, by organizing the first European Championships in Cuban Salsa.
Here 10 couples from all over Europe will compete and show us the very best of there skills and the level of Cuban salsa in Europe today to inspiration for all of us.
The program starts at 15.00 pm. the 30th of July and ends at 10.00 am. the 31st. of July. The program are split up in three packages with three tickets prices, and you can choose the package you want.
Program description of the Event
You can arrive to the Salsa Camp 2010 during the morning and afternoon the 30th of July and put up your tent in the park. (For the participants with impossible transport and flight connections its possible to arrive and check in late afternoon the 29th of July after 18.00 pm)
15.00-17.00: Salsa Workshops
The events starts from 15.00 to 17.00 pm with 2x1 hours of salsa workshops where the high qualified and dedicated salsa instructors of the Salsa Camp 2010 will present there skills to inspirate, socilialize and worm us up to the big event. The salsa workshops are an offer given by the Salsa Camp 2010 and they are free of charge.
17.30-18.00: Salsa band ensemble performance
From 17.30 to 18.00 we will have the welcome drinks as the Salsa Camp 2010 Salsa Band Ensemble from weak 4 make their little concert performance, showing what they had learned in the salsa band ensemble workshop during the week.
18.00-20.00 The Latino Gala Party buffet
From 18.00 to 20.00 we will serve a delicious Latino Gala Party Buffet for you, where the organic kitchen of the Europahøjskolen and Salsa Camp 2010 will show the best of there famous and high valuated organic cooking. You must not miss that opportunity for a superp take off for your wellbeing and dancing.
20.00-23.30: The Championships
From 20.00 to 23.30 is the take off for the European Championships in Cuban Salsa with the ten couples competing in organized disciplines, themes and blocks. Between the blocks the floor is open for dancing by the audience. The winner couple will be found and celebrated between 23.00 and 23.30
23.30-01.30: Calle Real!
From 23.30 to about 01.30 Calle Real will end the Grand Cuban Salsa Gala Party making the Great Gala Dance Concert, where we will dance so the floor are trembling and the roof are lifting out of its top, guided and inspired by the hottest and most intensive nordic cuban timba
01.30- Salsatek
From 01.30 our very best DJ-Salsani from Denmark and DJ-Flaca from Norway with guest DJs will end the Grand Finale playing the salsatek to the early morning.
07.30-10.00: Morning swim and breakfast
You can skip the sleep and go directly to the morning swim in the see 400 meter from the Salsa Camp and go from there to a delicious morning breakfast, that will be served between 07.30 and 10.00 am.
After 10.30 am the very last people are leaving the Salsa Camp 2010.

The Salsa Camp 2010 are situated in the country side. Its possible to put up our tent in the big park at the Salsa Camp and we have very good toilet and bathing facilities.
